Senior Vice President / Politics
An award-winning ad maker and strategist, Liz lives for telling a good story. Her mission: helping candidates, brands and advocacy organizations do so in fresh, compelling ways. With 20 years of experience in politics and marketing, Liz specializes in developing integrated TV and digital campaigns and writes, directs and produces emotionally-powerful advertising that persuades with humor and heart.
A veteran of three presidential campaigns, Liz has helped elect Democrats at every level, from the Senate and House to the statehouse, governorships and the presidency. In 2018, Liz served as an advisor and media consultant to Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer whose campaign, according to the New York Times, “buried the pervasive belief that a ticket led by a woman could not succeed in the Industrial Midwest.” Liz was also an ad maker for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign and a producer for the 2016 Democratic National Convention. Over the years, Liz’s work has mobilized voters online for Planned Parenthood, framed 30 years of electoral success for EMILY’s List, shaped elections in Israel and Albania, bolstered global brands like Airbnb, influenced the national conversation on gun violence and climate change and helped the DSCC and DCCC win key congressional seats in even the toughest cycles. Her ads have been featured in USA Today, The New York Times, NPR and Marie Claire.
Before GMMB, Liz was a senior aide in the Obama White House, on President Obama’s historic 2008 campaign and in Senate Majority Leader Reid’s war room.
