Anne brings more than 10 years of experience in global education, education advocacy, and nonprofit marketing and communications to GMMB. She believes that finding—and telling—the right stories drives powerful social change, and she has a knack for helping organizations frame their work in compelling and engaging ways and developing communications and content with the user’s experience in mind.
Prior to joining GMMB in 2018, Anne oversaw marketing and communications for Asia Society’s Center for Global Education, which included directing and executing the digital communications strategy for the Center’s official launch, redesigning the website, and overhauling social media and email marketing to improve branding, visual design, and accessibility. Previously, she worked at the League of Education Voters and at the University of Washington in Seattle. She also speaks Korean and German and spent three years in Korea through a Fulbright teaching grant. In her volunteer work, Anne uses her communications skills to support criminal justice reform and reproductive healthcare. And in her free time, Anne is a letterpress printer, going old school in her communications and helping students learn the analog way of putting word to paper, letter by letter.
